Apartment Living in SMALL CITIES

Each project will feature 60 to 120 units for 55+ Active Adults with amenities to help foster community. All residents will be encouraged to contribute time to non-profits and mentoring (Participatory Philanthropy).

Inside

  • Sustainable design via mass timber construction, Passive House standards, energy efficient appliances, and Eco-conscious materials.

  • High ceilings, exposed wood beams, and loft-like living room/dining/kitchen. Few or no stairs, plenty of storage.

  • Mix of units: Studios, 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedrooms, and 3 Bedrooms.

  • Amenities including gym, community room, library.

  • Initial rental rates of $2,500 to $6,000/month anticipated.

Outside

  • Green roof access. Solar panel array.

  • Cooperation with universities and cultural institutions on events, lifelong learning, mentoring, and facilities.

  • Convenient electric car sharing service to minimize the need for car ownership.

40 million Baby Boomers turn 65 between 2020 and 2030.

30 MILLION OF THEM CANNOT AFFORD TO AGE IN PLACE.

Their Problem – Insufficient Post-Retirement resources.
